Guidelines for Speakers and Oral Presenters
Mandatory Consent Form
All speakers and oral presenters are required to complete the "Consent for recording of presentation and the use of presentation materials" form prior to the scheduled presentation.
Submission & Preparation
- All presenters must email their presentation slides to the Secretariat (msc2026.scientific@macr-cancer.org) at least one week before their scheduled slots.
- Only PowerPoint slides (.ppt or .pptx) will be accepted.
- A speaker-ready room will be made available for minor adjustments to presentations as needed before submission.
Presentation Time Limits
Plenary Speakers
Total presentation time limit.
Invited Speakers
Excluding an additional 5 minutes allocated for Q&A.
Oral Presenters
Selected abstracts. Excluding an additional 5 minutes for Q&A.
Special Requirements & Event Rules
Device & Media Needs
Presenters should inform the Secretariat of any special requirements in advance, for example:
- Those who prefer to use their own laptops (e.g., a MacBook where an adapter will be required to connect to the projector).
- Those who have audiovisual aids (e.g., videos or animations) in their presentations.
Session Management
Time limits will be strictly enforced to ensure the conference runs on schedule.
Session chairs may intervene if time limits are exceeded, for example by reminding speakers or shortening the question-and-answer sessions.
Evaluation & Awards
Oral presentations will be evaluated by selected judges, and prizes will be awarded for the three best oral presentations. The decision of the conference committee is final.
