About 4th MSC 2026

Advancing Regional Cancer Research
for Equitable Cancer Care

As the global cancer burden continues to rise, the disparity between scientific innovation and equitable patient access remains one of the most critical challenges in modern oncology, one that is uniquely amplified across Asia. The region's immense multiethnic diversity, distinct sociocultural landscapes, and scarce region-specific research create complex hurdles at the intersection of treatment accessibility, escalating costs, and health disparities. The pressing need to adapt and deliver life-saving solutions within our specific regional context is an effort that must be driven from within Asia.

Moving beyond the discovery of novel therapies, we bring together a multidisciplinary coalition of oncologists, precision oncologists, epidemiologists, public health scientists, and policymakers to champion research tailored to Asia and chart a path where geography and cost no longer dictate a patient's prognosis.
