Registration

Please complete and submit the registration form available on our website (Click here to register). Your registration will be confirmed once your payment of the registration fee has been verified.

You may choose one of the following registration categories based on your status and timing:

  • MACR members are entitled to a RM 50 discount.
  • Students must provide a copy of their student card to register under the student category.
  • Registration fees for the two-day conference include the Gala Dinner on 24 November 2026.

Upon verification of your payment, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address by our finance team. Please allow a few working days for the verification process.

International participants who require a visa to enter Malaysia can request an official invitation letter from the Secretariat (msc2026.secretariat@macr-cancer.org). Please note that the invitation letter will be issued only to participants who have successfully paid the registration fee.

Yes, an electronic receipt will be sent to the email address recorded in the registration form once the payment has been verified by our finance department.

Abstract Submission

You need to register as a delegate or participant for the 4th MSC before submitting your abstract. The abstract document must be attached upon submitting the registration form via our online portal. Please refer to the Guidelines for Abstract Submission for further details and to download the official template.

  • 17 August 2026: Abstract Submission Deadline
  • 17 September 2026: Notification of Abstract Acceptance

Within the same presentation category, a participant can submit only one abstract as the first or presenting author. However, you can be listed as a co-author on other abstracts, and there is no limit to the number of such abstracts.

Yes, all accepted abstracts will be published in the official programme book and conference proceedings, provided that the presenting or first author is a registered participant, has successfully paid the registration fee, and has consented to the publication of the abstract during submission.

Oral & Poster Presentation

Oral Presentation:
  • Prepare your presentation slides using Microsoft PowerPoint and email them to the Secretariat at least one week before your scheduled slot.
  • Time limit: 10 minutes (excluding an additional 5 minutes for questions and answers).
  • Please refer to the Guidelines for Oral Presentation for more details.
Poster Presentation:
  • Size: A1 (Portrait Orientation: 594 mm × 841 mm).
  • The Secretariat will provide the materials for mounting your poster on the first day of the conference.
  • You are required to present your poster (~3 minutes) in person during designated sessions.
  • Please refer to the Guidelines for Poster Presentation for more details.

During submission, you may state your preferred presentation category (oral or poster) and conference track. However, the final decision lies with the Scientific Committee, which may change your initial choice after meticulously reviewing the availability of presentation slots, research fit, and the overall balance of the conference programme.

Miscellaneous

Updates on MMA and MMC CPD points accreditation will be provided and announced periodically on the conference website leading up to the event.

Yes, you will receive an electronic certificate of attendance or presentation via email, provided that you meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Your physical attendance during the conference is recorded at the registration counter.
  • You have successfully completed and submitted the post-event feedback survey.
